Beauty Bible: Spring Pretties
Monday, 19 October 2015
Hi Dolls,
So besides the hay fever, spring is probably my favourite season. Not too hot, not too cold - cardigans and short shorts make sense - skin is neither too dry or too oily (for me) aaaaaand its the season where I most loooove to wear my favourite colour....PINK...both makeup wise and style wise. Plus my birthday is in spring, so go figure.
Beauty wise, spring makeup usually equals light, airy, dewy and fresh. Corals, soft pinks, nudes, burnt orange, bronze, turquoise as well as pastels all come to mind for me.
So here are a few products that you might like to help you get that spring glow. These aren't all 'high high' end but they are all pretty much over the $40 mark here in aus, but are all amaze brands that I think are worth the cost.
Face:
SMASHBOX Photo finish pore minimising foundation primer
Powders:
CHARLOTTE TILBURY Filmstar bronze & glow (fair / medium)
TOO FACED Sweethearts perfect flush blush
NARS Blush - Gaiety
Eyes:
CHARLOTTE TILBURY Color chameleon color morphing eyeshadow pencil - Amber haze
TOO FACED Love eyeshadow palette
Lips:
TOM FORD Lip color Sheer - Skinnydip
Nails:
TOM FORD Nail Lacquer - Toasted Sugar
Scent:
DIOR Miss Dior - Blooming Bouquet
Tools:
NARS Yachiyo Kabuki Brush
I obviously missed a few steps (foundation, setting spray/powder, concealer etc) but these are what Ive personally been loving atm. Ive also included a few more products below that I thought deserved a mention as well.
Enjoy beautifuls!

My poor little princess was miserable over the weekend. Out of nowhere she suddenly got a high temperature and a small mouth ulcer. Lets just say, it wasn't too fun. All she wanted was Mummy, boobies (yes she still breastfeeds LOL .. here and there) and lots of cuddles.
I absolutely hate seeing my kids, or any kids for that matter - sick. Its gotta be one of the worst things ever! These pics put such a smile on my face, seeing Eva in bright and happy spring colours. Evas entire outfit is from H&M and Im not gonna lie, Ive kinda gone a little H&M crazy! (its new here in Perth, okaaaay). I swear I could spend hours in there! I love the kids section more than the womans section it seems. The kids range is pretty darn cute and super affordable, which every mama has to love.
If you follow me on insta you would have seen that Ive started to go high-heel crazy. I hardly ever wear high heels with jeans as I'm such a sneaker and sandal lover, but you've gotta love what good heels do for your figure! Im also in love with this boho top for spring, its so light and airy.
I hope your having a good week so far! Im so grateful that my little girls spiel was only temporary. It was all over within a few days thank goodness. Some aren't so lucky, so it was a much needed reminder to be grateful for our health. Good health is everything! so here I am, sending lots of 'good health' vibes your way.
